(NYSE: AB), today announced two key leadership promotions in its Houston office: Stephen Lewis has been named Senior National Director, Co-Head of the Houston office and Head of National Client Experience, and Adam Geist has been named Managing Director and Co-Head of the Houston office. Their appointments reinforce the firm's commitment to top leadership in a strategically important market. Lewis is a seasoned leader with 24 years of financial services experience. He began his career at Bernstein in 2002 as one of the original founders of the Houston office. As a Senior National Director, he will continue to be responsible for firmwide client experience initiatives. In addition, he will take on leadership in Houston partnering with Geist on advisor mentoring, community engagement, culture, business strategy and growth initiatives. Prior to joining Bernstein, he spent seven years on the Global Sales team at GATX. Lewis earned a bachelor's degree from Texas Christian University as well as performing as an adjunct professor. Geist joined Bernstein in 2021 as a Wealth Advisor and quickly earned the designation of Principal. Before that, he served in both advisory and leadership roles at leading financial services firms, including Goldman Sachs, City National Bank, and Brown Brothers Harriman. He began his career at Bank of America as an analyst. Geist earned a Bachelor of Science from Washington and Lee University and holds an MBA from Owen Graduate School of Management.
