Newmark Advises Schroder Real Estate Investment Trust on Acquisition of Picton Property Income

LONDON, Sept. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Newmark Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: NMRK) ("Newmark" or "the Company"), a leading commercial real estate advisor and service provider to large institutional investors, global corporations, and other owners and occupiers, has advised Schroder Real Estate Investment Trust ("Schroder REIT") on its £380 million acquisition of Picton Property Income ("Picton"), which was part of a consortium transaction with LondonMetric Property Plc ("LondonMetric").John Rodgers, Managing Partner – Head of UK Capital Markets, and Jamie Hall, Partner – Capital Markets, advised Schroder REIT on the transaction.

The transaction is transformational for Schroder REIT, creating a significantly larger and more diversified portfolio with a continued focus on the multi-let industrial and retail warehouse sectors. Under the terms of the transaction, Schroder REIT has acquired 54 percent of Picton's property assets by value.
