MISSISSAUGA, ON, Sept. 17, 2026 /CNW/ -- Cargojet Inc. today announces the launch of a new Wednesday service to Liège, Belgium (LGG), beginning September 23, 2026. The additional frequency builds on Cargojet's successful weekend service, increasing capacity and flexibility between Canada and Europe. "This expansion demonstrates the power of our One Network strategy—connecting our domestic overnight network with our international operations to deliver greater reach, flexibility and value for our customers," said Pauline Dhillon, Chief Executive Officer, Cargojet. "Growing demand from customers across Central and Western Europe for our weekend Liège service created an opportunity to add mid-week capacity and provide customers with a more seamless, fully connected solution between Canada, Europe and beyond." Operated with a Boeing 767 freighter, the new Wednesday service will complement Cargojet's existing weekend operation and fly the Hamilton (YHM) – Halifax (YHZ) – Liège (LGG) – Hamilton (YHM) route. Customers will benefit from access to Cargojet's domestic overnight network across Canada and expanded connectivity through its international operations. The new service strengthens Cargojet's position as a trusted global air cargo partner and advances its One Network strategy by integrating domestic overnight, ACMI and charter operations across an expanding network of international markets.
