Company Confirms People Incorporated Has Withdrawn its Proposal to Acquire MGM Resorts LAS VEGAS, Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM) ("MGM Resorts" or the "Company") confirms that People Incorporated ("People") has withdrawn its June 1, 2026, proposal to acquire all of the outstanding shares of the Company that it does not already own. Over the past several months, a special committee of MGM Resorts' Board has participated in negotiations with People to advance the interests of its shareholders.
