The New STACKTV App Offers Canadians More Flexibility and Convenience, Bringing Corus' Streaming Offering Together in One Destination

TORONTO, Oct. 20, 2026 /CNW/ -- Corus Entertainment announced today that the new STACKTV app is available across select supported devices and platforms. The new app offers Canadian viewers expanded ways to stream their favourite Corus content on more devices all in one place.

With a free account, viewers can immediately stream thousands of hours of TV shows and movies, 24/7 Global News channels, and select episodes of Global's hit primetime shows for seven days after their broadcast premieres. To enjoy the full STACKTV experience within the app, viewers can also link a STACKTV subscription through Prime Video for $14.99/month to access live and on-demand shows, movies, and specials on Corus' top 15 networks (Global, Flavour Network, Home Network, W Network, The HISTORY® Channel, Adult Swim, Slice, Showcase, National Geographic, Lifetime, DTOUR, Cartoon Network, Treehouse, YTV, and Disney Channel). Alternatively, viewers can link their TV provider to access networks included in their cable package with the exception of YTV, Treehouse, Cartoon Network, Disney Channel, and DTOUR, which can only be unlocked with a STACKTV subscription. STACKTV access for Rogers, Bell, and Eastlink customers will be available in the coming weeks.

The new STACKTV app is taking over the current Global TV app – offering viewers the same premium streaming experience, but now with a fresh new look, access to even more content, and improved functionality.

Currently available on Roku, iOS (iPhone and iPad), and web, the STACKTV app's rolling launch will continue this fall with Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Android phones and tablets, Apple TV, LG Smart TVs and Samsung Tizen Smart TVs. Availability timing subject to change. Once the app rollout is complete, the Global TV app will be phased out and viewers watching on globaltv.com will be redirected to STACKTV.ca as the new web destination to watch their favourite Corus programming.

To start streaming new series and returning favourites like Survivor, NCIS: New York, or Private Eyes West Coast for free seven days after their broadcast premieres with the STACKTV app, viewers can locate the app and create a free account to sync their watch progress across their devices and receive recommendations tailored on what to watch.
