She found an unidentified painting in storage. It turned out to be a female still-life master's work

Ever heard of the name Clara Peeters? If not, chances are you’re not alone. But art historian and curator Cynthia Osiecki absolutely knew her — and her groundbreaking work. So, when she stumbled across an unattributed still-life painting in the storage area of the National Museum of Norway in Oslo in 2022, she couldn't shake the feeling that she was certain who painted it.
