ICE New England arrests registered sex offender from Guatemala

BOSTON — ICE Homeland Security Investigations New England has administratively arrested a Guatemalan national and a registered sex offender with a past conviction for indecent assault and battery against a person age 14 or older.
HSI personnel arrested Eynar Estuardo Vielman Jimenez, 38, on Aug. 2 in West Roxbury.
Jimenez, a citizen and national of Guatemala, was convicted on April 11, 2017, of three counts of indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 or older. He was sentenced to 328 days in jail and required to register as a Level 2 sex offender within the commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Jimenez entered the U.S. through an unknown location and without inspection around Dec. 1, 2008.
He remains in ICE custody pending removal proceedings.
