Three Arrested in Mobile for Alleged Threats Against the President
October 2, 2026 - Today, the FBI’s Mobile Division, in coordination with the U.S. Secret Service, the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the University of South Alabama (USA), the USA Police Department, the Mobile Police Department, the Saraland Police Department, and the Alabama Fusion Center, arrested three individuals for allegedly making threatening communications directed toward the president of the United States.
These arrests are a result of the FBI’s continued efforts to identify and mitigate targeted violence, threats, and criminal activity against government personnel, entities, and operations, as outlined in the September 2025, National Security Presidential Memorandum (NSPM-7): Countering Domestic Terrorism and Organized Political Violence. They were closely coordinated with the Joint Mission Center (JMC).
Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
